BACKGROUND

FRONT PAGE NEWS

PRESS PHOTOGRAPHY

I trained in photography at Christie’s Fine Art Auction House in London as assistant photographer on medium and large format film doing their high end brochures. I gained press photo experience at the Brighton Argus newspaper and then as a freelancer. I’ve had photos placed in major broadsheets, magazines and news websites. I’ve also undertaken commission work for PR companies, media companies and other individual private clients.

INTERVIEWING DAVID PROWSE

INTERVIEWING

My first interview was with a rather reclusive but highly engaging and fascinating Hollywood director. Since then, I have done many interviews with politicians, actors, authors, directors, producers, film crew, business owners, musicians and many others. These include phone interviews, TV interviews, face to face interviews and location interviews. People always feel at ease with me so I get the best out of them and this comes across in the result.

FILMING IN LONDON

NEWS CAMERA

I started my news camera work for ITV local in Brighton, filming and conducting interviews. I’ve also covered politics, community events, festivals and worked for local Brighton TV producing stand-alone news reports. I’ve also  worked for several independent news media websites in Brighton. I gained invaluable live experience at party political conferences and election results, learning how to capture quality, useable and resonant footage quickly.

TV INTERVIEWS

Ex-boxer, author and Brighton character Stevie Martin came into the Latest TV studio to discuss his latest book and have a good old banter.

My interview for Latest TV, Brighton with Peter De Wolf, ITV location manager who was working on the Peter James’ hit TV series Grace.

I talk to Kelly Mikulla, founder of the Sussex Film Office in 2016, about her work and what services the office provides to film makers and producers.
